This was a pretty good week in most ways. I got caught up at work. Not really ahead, but caught up. It's finally reached the point where things are working. It's still more crowded than I like, but that will never get much better until the next major overhaul, unless that makes it worse.

I spent Tuesday evening at the hospital with my daughter who has been experiencing severe abdominal pain which blood tests, CAT scans and so forth have yet to explain. Her next step is to see a gastro-enterologist. Meanwhile, she's missing a lot of school. I just hope her boyfriend is taking good care of her.

Next friday is Columbus day, and I think there's a powwow that weekend. Maybe I'll rouse myself and spend a day. That's the one Trish usually works every year, and there's a few other folks I know who should be there. Something to look forward to.

Ouch, good luck to your daughter. My daughter had that last fall. Pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, for weeks. She had all the tests, and nothing was found. I'm pretty convinced that it was somatic, related to her psych issues and stress.
