Sunday Morning

It's a bit cold out there this morning. No frost yet, but any day now. Foliage seems to be coming along nicely.

Oh, and by the way, Alex just got his acceptance package from Great Bay Community College (AKA Portsmouth Tech, AKA Stratham Tech, AKA New Hampshire Community Technical College). Mind you, getting in there isn't tough, but he knew he didn't have the grades to get into UNH straight off. So he's planning to go to GBCC for a year or two then transfer over to UNH. GBCC is used to this and helps students out with the process.

And he did it all on his own. A few reminders here and there, he did all the work. Now all the family needs is for Eric to find a police department to sponsor him into the police academy and for Alex to find some work. Oh, and for me to get a life, but that's still only a middle priority.

Pow Wow

Anyone interested in making a group trip up to Milton next weekend for the powwow at Mi Te Jo campground? Could be fun and I hate to go alone. (Sure Trish will be probably be there, but that's because she volunteers at the thing - hard to hang out.) Fun and education for kids and grownups alike. Music, dancing, food, storytelling and reasonably authentic arts and crafts.
