Tree is up

Yes, I waited until the last minute. It's kind of crowded in the house so I was in no hurry to take up the space. Besides, the tree has been something the kids did and this year they just ... didn't. Of course, I haven't actually decorated it. The ex and kids will have fun with it. I just wanted to have the tree itself here when they come home/wake up. Working hard to maintain what little Christmas spirit I've found this year.

And I've made a discovery. The difference between Irish music and Celtic music is that there seems to almost always be an undercurrent of sadness in Celtic music. Irish music has a hidden streak of humor even in songs about death and mourning. Just my observation.
