Too early

But here I am, at 8:30 Am, and I've already spent an hour out driving with Eric. We went mostly on low-traffic back roads. Around here, that also means narrow, twisty and hilly - yes, all at once. With soft shoulders, drainage ditches and mailboxes that don't quite stick out into the road. But some very nice houses. Besides, the trees lining the roads block out the sun.

Later, it's bill paying time and grocery shopping. But first, Warcraft and killing stuff.

We're going to be in Durham for Younger Son's coronation...err, graduation...but it looks like a hit-and-run. Arrive early, get tangled up in traffic, leave late. Not much chance to see you, unless you are involved in the food-service of some kind of big lunch bash on campus. In which case, you will probably be emulating that one-armed paper-hanger with hives...

So far I've been lucky enough to avoid that particular chore. I only have to deal with the preparation and the aftermath. It usually takes us all summer to finish off the excess soda and water ordered for the event.
