Coming Home

So my daughter is moving back in. She moved into an apartment with a friend of hers last fall but they've been arguing a lot lately. That on top of school stress and losing her job proved way too much so she's coming home.

The tricky part is that my youngest son moved into her room after she left and so we're going to have to do some major rearranging now. Still, we'll manage something.

Meanwhile, my wife invited everyone up to her place for Easter. Amanda won't go, I'm sure and I'm not really interested either. The boys, Eric and Alex want to go, so we'll see how things work out.

My daughter Amanda did much the same thing, moving out and then moving back home several times. It's an adventure for all concerned.

I think she's out for good now, since she and James (her SO and the father of her daughter Rhiannon) just bought a house together.

Trish lives about an hour up Maine. I've never been there. For Thanksgiving, I met her halfway. For various reasons, I'm not excited about doing this again. God this stuff is complicated.

Besides, there's something strangely satisfying about living in the attic - like a crazy relation, you know?
