Today was my son Eric's high school graduation day. Pride and all of that stuff. Hectic cleaning beforehand for all of the company. Trish's father and step-mother, my father... guess not all that much company. But the house hasn't been this clean in ages.
The graduation itself seemed so much different from my own graduation. Much rowdier - there wasn't as much yelling and cheering at mine. Not to mention the beach ball being tossed around. There were more tattoo's as well. In fact, more mothers had tats at his graduation than fathers did at mine. Heck, more students had tattoos now than parents did back in '79.
Times change, I guess. The pride stays the same.
