It's Autumn
Oct. 27th, 2012 07:54 amAnd in autumn, a home should smell of apples and cinnamon (also a song by Utada Hikaru), nutmeg, ginger and pumpkin. Wood smoke and leaves.
And coffee. Waiting for the cinnamon quick bread I've got in the oven to fill the house. Feeling vaguely nostalgic about the fall this year. It's a good thing, but I'd like to have a lady to take long walks down leaf covered sidewalks with, visit a park, that sort of thing.
Ah, well, someday perhaps. Meanwhile, listening to my goth station on Pandora because it's almost Hallowe'en/Samhain. Have a great weekend folks.
