Well, I survived my first day in my new position. I knew I would. This is mostly trainee level stock-work. It's actually kind of insulting for someone with twenty years experience to be put into this position when there are people with far less experience available. Like, for instance, the guy I traded places with. Now he, with just a couple of years doing stock - and most of that actually driving a truck rather than dealing with stock - is stuck in a job that requires quite a bit of experience. In fact, he might technically not have the credentials for the job. I know that with almost two years stock work behind me, I didn't actually have the listed required experience. And that was before they upgraded the job from storeskeeper 2 to storeskeeper 3.
I'm a lot calmer and almost resignedat this point. We'll see. The bills have to get paid and the kids have to be fed, etc.
