Okay, I've had worse, but I've had plenty better. Monday was just a Monday - very busy at work.
Tuesday, I stayed home sick - cold/sore throat/general yuckiness which made sleep hard. Just as well I stayed home since the furnace was on the fritz. They had to replace the circulating pump. (I think I have just about enough left of my tax refund to pay for Alex's glasses when they arrive in a week or so.)
Wednesday, Eric found out that he can't join the Air Force because of his asthma. Meanwhile, because Stratham Tech fouled up his financial aid last semester, he isn't allowed to attend classes this semester. He also won't be able to get his grades until the mess is straightened out which makes it hard for him to apply to UNH for next fall. Argh! And of course, since he's not currently enrolled as a full time student, his coverage on my insurance expires on his birthday at the end of this month. So I told him if he's going to get sick - do it now!
And today, the freight elevator at work stopped working. We had to move pallets of food upstairs on the passenger elevator - not all of the pallets would fit. It made for a hectic day, even after the big elevator was repaired (when we were almost done putting away the stock anyway.) It was such a sucky day that I actually looked forward to my dentist appointment. A chance to relax flat on my back in the company of a pleasant woman. The occasional stab of pain was trivial.
