Waiting for the furnace

The heating folks are supposed to be here any minute now to install my new furnace. I've done what I can to prepare things. Made sure the path to the furnace and the immedeate area are clear, put down cardboard over the mud on the path leading from my back gate to the cellar entrance. Let the dog run around the yard for a bit because he won't be able to while the workmen are here. My daughter has gone upstairs to sleep because her bedroom is at the back on the ground floor - directly over the cellarway.
