Twas the day before Christmas

And we're trying. The tree finally went up last night, though it isn't decorated yet. I have no Christmas spirit at all this year. The kids are trying, but they're so busy that it's hard for them. I've just never been the holiday sort of person. Trish is, but things are so hard for her these days that she isn't able to inject much spirit when she gets in touch.

Still, we will make the best of it, and if we can get through with no drama, I think that will help. Oh please let there be no drama this year.

At least there's less stress from not being able to get people presents. Everyone is working and we make it fairly easy to shop for us.

Well some last minute grocery shopping to do today for our holiday meal tomorrow. Maybe pick up a little something for the ex-in-laws for when we get together over the weekend. I'm sure if I try I can muster a little bit of Christmas spirit. I could use it as much as the kids.
