A beautiful day

For a walk. So I took a walk out to Walmart to pick up a couple of things I need. Just a couple of miles. But it's a perfect day for a walk. Cool and breezy to offset the heat of walking. It's cloudy and grey, but not dismal. And while the foliage is well past peak, the yellows and browns are as attractive in their way as the reds and golds were. And it's still fun kicking through the drifts of leaves on the sidewalks.

I really need better walking shoes if I want to make a habit of this sort of thing - which I should to drop some excess weight and generally improve my health.
