Happy Labor Day

It has been a puttering around weekend. Got my new work shoes. Got an oil change. Visited friends. Drove out to the beach. And finally started on replacing the flooring downstairs. It's take some time but that just means hours and hours of meaningful,productive activity that I can feel good about. I also had to buy myself a belt sander. Power tools! Got a small patch of my back hallway done. I figured if I messed things up, that was the least critical space esthetically speaking.

Now for some breakfast and back to the project, which I'm taking slowly. Lots off goofing off because - hey! It's a holiday weekend. And I'm not expecting company until Thanksgiving.
