Provisional Hip Hip Hooray

I just got a new dishwasher. The cheer is provisional because it is washing the first load now so I'm waiting to see if I've just improved my domestic life or simply worsened my financial situation. (Not that I'm shaky financially these days. Actually I'm doing okay. Not bank CEO okay, but I can handle my bills and still afford to eat out now and then okay.)

And it's portable. It's coming with me when I finally get around to unloading this place. I'm thinking of calling the dishwasher Alfred. Which would make my son The Boy Wonder. He'd kill me if I started calling him that. Especially if I tried making him wear the costume.
