As I sit here
Jun. 7th, 2014 10:30 amgoofing off on the computer, my son and his girlfriend are moving back in. The plan is for a couple of months at most. Here's to hoping. If any of these many interviews he's been to lately pan out, Eric should have a pretty decent job soon. I certainly hope so, because there is no place to park a third car come winter. Heck, there really isn't room to park a second car, but we've managed in the past.
Meanwhile, I've got laundry, dishes and gardening to do to keep me out of trouble. And there will be heavy lifting to help with along the way, I'm sure.
The funny part is that after moving these two people in to the house, there will actually be slightly more room around here. They cleaned up the attic some - including convincing my ex to collect the stuff she'd left behind ten years ago. Plus bagging up the stuff that can be thrown away and determining what the Salvation Army can put to use. And if/when they do move out again, why there will be huge amounts of space including, quite possibly, a whole spare room only needing furnishing to make it suitable for company.
