Vacation Projects

prophet_marcusYes, I'm on vacation this week and I have plenty of projects to keep me busy. First, there's the yard. There's always the yard. I want it to look nice, but I hate yardwork. So it'll take me a few more years to get it looking halfway decent. No, I'm not exaggerating.
Then there's unimportant stuff like beating Warcraft II and levelling my Warrior toon and World of Warcraft. Perhaps even going back and trying for a total finish on Final Fantasy X-2.
The really fun project is the memory project. I spent a couple of hours this morning scanning a bunch of old pictures. I'm going to write up an HTML page to display the pictures with some commentary. That way, in the future, my kids can look at all of these old pictures and learn something about the people in them - and thus about me and why I cared about these people.
Next phase after that is my old letters and cards. Same deal. Then it all goes onto CD's. This way, I save tons of space, have everything neatly organized, it should all last longer and in the meantime I get to wallow in nostalgia.
Maybe I'll put up some of the better stuff on my webpage - or set up a new one on my Verizon account. I haven't used that at all yet. I'll let you know.
