Christmas Finale

prophet_marcusJust got back from Christmas with the ex-in-laws - at McDonald's. The first plan was to meet here, but my house is not currently suitable for company. So then we were going to go down to Massachusetts. But then Alex couldn't get off from work. So Trish came up with the idea of meeting there. It was a nice surprise, although I thought it kind of strange that, knowing we were going to a fast-food place, Trish's step-mom brought food along.
It was a nice surprise for Alex (I think,) and a pleasant enough gathering. I prefer to do these things in neutral settings - less stress and discomfort. I'm not big on family events at the best of times.
Did I mention that Amanda got me a Grinch T-shirt for Christmas?
