I have succumbed

to the powers of the Dark Side. I bought a cell-phone. It will come in handy since we currently have four people in the house who all have jobs and two of whom also are in school and we only have one car between us. This makes coordinating travel complicated and everyone having cells just makes it easier when plans change at the last second.

Such is life in the 21st century. We didn't get the domed cities, space and undersea colonies, flying cars or ubiquitous robots, but the computer and communication revolution outstripped the wildest imaginings.
