prophet_marcusYes, the hectickness continues at work. On top of the usual stuff, I got to go on a compost run today. That means running around to the various dining halls and a couple of businesses who all save up food waste in barrels which we then take out to a farm and dump into holes dug into long rows of dirt. There, the food will decompose until it is just like the dirt it is buried in.
Then they sell the dirt. Or maybe they use some of it, but the farm already has an awful lot of dirt and we add tons every month. Anyway, not the worst job I've had, but it does little to add glamor to my already dull employment.
So. In addition to work, there was a doctor to see on Monday and financial errands on Tuesday and the dentist today and another doctor on Friday. Tomorrow, I get to just come home after work - so far.
I am so looking forward to the weekend, although there's busyness there as well. Banking, food shopping, bill paying. Sometimes, this being an adult really sucks. There are compensations, but I can't remember what they are just at the moment.
