Math Class

I had my first math class last night. I think it's going to be pretty easy - I might even keep my 4.0 GPA. Of course, it's pretty much intro to college math - a starter class for those who don't need remedial math. But it's also the first math class I've taken since 1982.
The fun part is the online stuff. There's a website done by McGraw-Hill which does tutoring and evaluation which we are supposed to use 90 minutes per week. It's pretty cool so far.
In other news, today is the day of the big community picnic at UNH. They estimate 10,000 people from the school and the town will show up. That's a lot of burgers, dogs and wraps. Trust me, I had to order the buns and wraps. Took up half of my dock. A hectic day, but things should start easing off a bit now. Everyone is settling in. Schedules are becoming habit. Mealtimes will become more regular and predictable for us, reducing the overordering as we get to know what the kids are eating this year.
Still, tomorrow is cleanup and dealing with leftovers. I may not have to order any hamburger rolls for a week. We'll see.
