More Spring Coolness

I just went out to my back yard to play with the dog - a half-euphemism for having a smoke (only half because I do play with the dog when I go out for a smoke.) To my surprise, my forsythia bushes have bloomed. (Now that I look out the front window, so have the ones across the street.) My weeping cherry is showing white on the buds so it should bloom in the next day or so as well.

I needed that cheering up as I wait to get the latest news on my car. The world go on with or withut us as George Harrison nearly said.

One forsythia bloometh at the park one block over from our hovel. Also a Japanese magnolia just down the street is putting forth.
