Early Christmas
Dec. 18th, 2005 06:45 amToday is early Christmas with some ex-in-laws. Trish, the kids and I are meeting Trish's sire and step-mom for lunch and presents at Chili's (r). We used to do this here at home, but when Trish left, her dad thought it would be uncomfortable for us - or perhaps for him. Silly man. We're all okay. But hey, we get a nice meal out together and that doesn't happen very often, so why bitch?
I've got most of my Christman shopping done. Just some stocking stuffers and a present for Trish. On the one hand, I like to get her something nice for her and her partner. Last year I got them a nice table lamp with pictures of wolves on the glass panes. This year, I wanted to get them a painting, but the ones I liked and could afford had all been bought before I got back to the store with the money. Also, Trish has no money for presents and I don't want to embarass her by getting anything too expensive.
Any quick and easy ideas for what to get a middle-aged lesbian couple who run a wolf sanctuary and are involved in Native American culture? Frankly, I'm stumped.
